Amanda Knox murder case update, latest news: Odds are against Knox

Amanda Knox is going to a hearing again next month for the murder of Meredith Kercher. Since 2007 when the crime took place, Knox has been acquitted once and convicted twice. Right now, she is branded a convicted murderer who is hoping to get that title off her name for good.

Knox, together with Raffaele Sollecito, are in hot water right now. It appears that the immense amount of evidence against the two has heightened the odds of getting another conviction. But this time, it may result to spending 30 years in prison for the crime they've been charged with.

Majority of the evidence reportedly points to Knox and Sollecito killing Kercher. Some believe that it was done for a Masonic rite. Many believe that Knox and Sollecito cleaned up the crime scene, too. Their questionable stories don't seem to challenge the circumstantial, behavioral, testimonial and physical evidence that the prosecutors have on them. Furthermore, the evidence also points to a third person included in the crime — Rudy Guede.

Despite the evidence stacked against Knox, she still has supporters behind her who believe that she will be acquitted of the crime due to lack of evidence. Her supporters continue to rally on and support her throughout the case.

According to Inquisitr, Knox is now living a low-key life by working as a freelance reporter for a local newspaper in Seattle. That's really all she can do right now given the murder case she's involved in.

Knox reportedly said that if an extradition request from Italy is made, she will never do it. She'd rather remain a fugitive than submit herself to Italy's extradition request. If convicted, she will have to serve her 30-year prison sentence in Italy.

This March, a hearing will commence to determine Knox's fate.
