Air Jordan release date: 'Three Time's a Charm' hits stores Saturday

It's that time of the month again for sneakerheads as a new Jordan Brand shoe gets set to make its debut.

This time around, the shoe for fans to drool over and line up for is none other than the Air Jordan 8 Retro "Three Time's a Charm" model, or as it is lovingly known by some fans, the "three-peat" pair, according to Latin Post.

The new shoes are primed to make their market debut this Saturday, and they should be available on Nike's official website by then. The shoes are also expected to be put on sale by selected retailers all over the world.

As the name of the shoe suggests, it is paying tribute to one of the three-peat title runs that Michael Jordan's Bulls had during the 90s. In this case, it is paying tribute to the initial three-peat run that featured the Chicago Bulls winning the title during those three years after vanquishing the Los Angeles Lakers, the Portland Trail Blazers, and also the Phoenix Suns, before Jordan himself decided to retire the first time around, according to Nike.

Jordan and the rest of the Bulls beat those teams in the NBA Finals in succession from 1991 to 1993.

This new sneaker even nods to those historical facts as the trademark colors of those teams can be seen at the heel, outsole, and tongue areas of the shoe itself. These colors are mainly used as accents for the shoe.

Aside from those colored components, the Air Jordan 8 Retro "Three Time's a Charm" shoe also prominently features a mixture of black and white. These are actually the primary colors of the shoe itself. The shoe also has an infrared Jumpman on its tongue label.

Also found on the shoe are black laces and the iconic number 23 is displayed as well.

The new sneakers will be available for $190.
