29th Chapter get in the Christmas spirit

|PIC1|Following their huge success in 2008, The 29th Chapter have announced the re-release of their rendition of the Christmas classic "Gloria", with a dash of 29's trademark tongue in cheek antics that will keep heads nodding whilst still addressing the real meaning behind Christmas.

The track has been re-mastered and will be available to the public via ITunes from December 7.

The record is being released in partnership with Christian aid agency Tearfund, which works in over 50 countries to transform lives materially and spiritually through aid, social action and political lobbying. All the profits raised by the single will go towards Tearfund's life transforming work.

The 29th Chapter will be celebrating the release of their new EP 'Louder' with a big Christmas party show on December 19. 29 & friends live in concert is being put on with support from Ekklesia and Sacred Entertainment.

The group is running a support act competition that will see one talented finalist or group take to the stage to perform as the opening act.

Entrants need to make a video of themselves performing two original tracks - no covers, post it on YouTube and send the link to info@29thchapter.com. (Include name, age and email address of everyone in the group, band/act name, contact number and where you are from).

The 29 lads will review each entry and select the best acts which will then be put up on The 29th Chapter's website for public vote. The act that gets the most votes wins the spot.
