The long wait for the fresh episodes of "Vikings" will be finally over, as the premiere episode of season 4 will come out this week.

Based on the spoilers for the first episode of season 4 titled "A Good Treason," chaos will start to happen as Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) takes his time while recovering from fatal wounds.

Zap2it posted a synopsis for the premiere episode, which reads:

"As Ragnar lies in his sick bed in Kattegat, events unfold beyond his control; Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) orders the arrest of Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) for Athelstan's (George Blagden) murder; Rollo betrays his Viking supporters to strengthen his position; Kalf (Ben Robson) announces joint Earldom with Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick)."

This reveals that the legendary Viking warrior-turned-King of Denmark will be powerless over the events that will happen around him after being injured from his previous attacks in Paris.

Meanwhile, another sneak peek shows Ragnar's brother Rollo (Clive Standen) and his new wife Gisla (Morgane Polanski), the daughter of Emperor Charles.

In the trailer, a half-naked Rollo is about to ask Gisla to consummate their marriage. But the Princess of Frankia appears to be very scared and does the sign of the cross several times. Rollo reminds her that she is already his wife, but the princess orders him to leave her alone.

Rollo tries to pacify her, saying that she does not have to be afraid. But Gisla says, "Do not touch me, Monster!" As Rollo draws near her, the princess draws a knife and points it at Rollo's neck. Defeated, the Viking warrior just pulls a pillow underneath Gisla's head and decides to sleep before saying "Goodnight, wife."

According to the spoilers, Princess Gisla will do everything that she can to get out of her marriage with Rollo, up to the point that she will betray him in the future episodes of season 4. Can Ragnar do something about his brother's betrayal despite his condition?

"Vikings" returns for season 4 on Thursday, Feb. 18, on the History Channel.
