'Vikings' season 3 spoilers: Ragnar and his men invade Paris in episode 9

The penultimate episode of "Vikings" season 3 will be aired this week, which means that fans of the hit original History series will see more action-packed sequences from the warriors led by King Ragnar of Denmark.

In the episode titled "Breaking Point," Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and his men will launch another all-out attack on Paris. The official synopsis for the episode reads:

The Vikings go all out for a second assault on Paris. Recognizing the desperate state of affairs for his city, Emperor Charles (Lothaire Bluteau) must make a difficult decision. In Wessex, Judith (Jennie Jacques) is compelled to make a difficult decision of her own."

The epic teaser for the new episode was also released, showing several Viking warriors swimming under the bridge that connects Paris to mainland France. But compared to their initial attack on Paris, the Viking warriors are right on time during the second attempt to take over the city.

If the video is any indication, then it seems like the new plan hatched by Ragnar and his men is better than the first one, since most of them manage to reach the high walls of the big city this time. Count Odo (Owen Roe) even tells Charles that the Northmen are almost inside their city.

But will Ragnar and his men really manage to infiltrate Paris and defeat Charle's soldiers this time?

Meanwhile, KDramaStars posted the synopsis of the Irish-Canadian historical drama series to tease fans about what they should expect from the episode. It reads:

In the Season 3 finale, Viking troops make one more daring effort to take Paris, and Ragnar requests a favor of Bjorn, one that could alter the course of Viking history."

"Vikings" season 3 episode 9 will air on April 16 and the season finale will air on April 23.
