'Ultra Street Fighter IV' Halloween costumes coming

"Ultra Street Fighter IV" is getting into the Halloween spirit.For the spookiest day of the year, players can choose to outfit their favorite characters in the game in newly released costumes adhering to the Halloween theme.

Game developer Capcom has unveiled nine new costume packs coming to "Ultra Street Fighter IV."

First off is the 2014 Challengers Horror Pack, which will be introducing five new outfits to the game.

Next up is the Arcade Challengers Horror Pack, and this will provide players with four new costumes to choose from.

After that is the Brawler Horror Pack, and this too will yield five new costumes.

Challengers Horror Packs 1 and 2 will be introducing five new outfits each to "Ultra Street Fighter IV."

Next is the Classic Horror Pack that also brings five new costumes into the fold.

The Femme Fatale Horror Pack will also give players five new outfits for the characters in the game.

The Shadoloo Horror Pack adds yet another quintet of scary costumes for some of the characters inside "Ultra Street Fighter IV."

Lastly, the Shoryuken Horror Pack will also yield five new outfits of its own.

In total, there will be 44 new costumes coming to "Ultra Street Fighter IV."

Players can choose to buy individual packs providing costumes for a few characters at $3.99 a pop, or they could just choose to purchase all of the new gear altogether. Players looking to do the latter can purchase the Complete Horror Pack that is on sale for $19.99, according to Capcom Unity.

All of the costumes will be available for multiple platforms supporting "Ultra Street Fighter IV." That means players can purchase them through Steam or for the PlayStation 3 and 4 as well as for the Xbox 360.

All of the Halloween costumes and packs set to arrive for "Ultra Street Fighter IV" will be available starting Oct. 27.
