The "Operation Red Crow" DLC of "Rainbow Six Siege" is now officially available for all players after the expansion was released exclusively for Season Pass owners last week.

The free DLC will introduce two new S.A.T. operators named Echo and Hibana who will eradicate the danger that stems from the Yakuza boss who lords over the streets of Nagoya, Japan.

Early reports claim that players who managed to download the DLC earlier experienced an issue with Hibana because the operator tends to freeze in the middle of the game. But Ubisoft issued an update 1.5 to fix the bugs from the DLC.

The update also comes with other fixes in the gameplay, including the inaccurate hitbox within the headgear of Castle, the occasional flat appearance of the operators, as well as the unexpected collision when throwing multiple gadgets in one location.

Several issues involving Echo are also fixed, including the player's animation that fails to work after being struck by the drone of the operator and the issues in the operator's Sonic Burst.

On the other hand, Ubisoft also hinted about their plans for "Rainbow Six Siege" Year 2 through an interview with PC Games Network.

Game studio's vice president of live operations Anne Blondel initially opted not to reveal any information about their plans for Year 2, but the Ubisoft executive dropped a few comments that offered several details about the game's future.

"I don't want to spoil, [the team] are really looking forward to revealing to the community. What I can say is Season 4 came out last weekend, patch 5.1 is [out now too] and we'll be announcing much more about year two in the weeks to come, but I would hate to spoil what they have in store for the game," Blondel stated.

More details about "Rainbow Six Siege" Year 2 are expected to be revealed soon.
