Tim Tebow says nothing beats the joy of making a difference in someone else's life, entering politics might be 'intriguing'

It is no secret that former NFL star and SEC analyst Tim Tebow prioritises his charitable efforts more than anything else in his life. As much as he loves football, Tebow says nothing would ever beat the joy he feels when he sees someone else's life change for the better with the help extended by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

During the recent 2016 Golf Classic at the TPC Sawgrass, which Tebow's organisation hosted, Tebow was asked by Fox Sports if the event was "better than football."

He replied: "Making a difference is always better than playing football. Golfing? Ehh, I don't really know about that. But being able to put a smile on a kid's face? Yeah," he said.

Tebow was then asked if he might consider entering politics. The 28-year-old sports personality did not rule out the idea, but noted just how "crazy" the current campaign period has gotten.

"It's been a whirlwind watching everything. You know, I don't know in this time in my life, but if there's a chance you can make a difference some day in something, then that would be intriguing," he said.

Aside from football and his charity works, another topic of great concern about Tebow's life is his romantic pursuits. He was previously linked to former Miss USA 2012 Olivia Culpo, who reportedly dumped him after he refused to engage in sex before marriage.

When Tebow appeared during a segment of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in February this year, he was asked what he looks for in a woman.

"Obviously, someone that I'm extremely attracted to," Tebow answered. "But I think there has to be more there, there has to be depth, you know. You have to have similar beliefs, you have to have chemistry, character. But there has to be something more than just glitz and glamour."
