'The Walking Dead' news: Norman Reedus gives insight into what happened in season 6 finale

The Walking Dead - Negan AMC

"The Walking Dead" cast members as well as the showrunner Scott M. Gimple have stated that even they are not fully aware of whom Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed at the season 6 finale but it appears that this may be a lie as a new interview with Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, gives new insight into what happened.

Speaking on the "Today" show, Reedus revealed that he does know what happened in the season 6 finale and he is aware of who died. He even gives a hint that the other actors are aware by stating Josh McDermitt threw his copy of the script in frustration or anger, Andrew Lincoln had trouble sleeping and Lauren Cohan was brought to tears.

While this contradicts everything the other cast members have stated thus far, a report from the IB Times points out that this could mean Daryl was the one killed off. It is possible that the script given to the other actors does not reveal who Negan murders but if Reedus knows then it is possible his script was different and that it reveals Daryl getting hit by Negan's bat.

Further fueling the flames is the fact that Reeedus now has a new show called "Ride with Norman Reedus" as well as a new movie where he stars with Diane Kruger, titled "Sky." It is speculated that Reedus was only able to film the new series solely because he was killed off in "The Walking Dead," freeing up his schedule.

In the original comic books by Robert Kirkman, it is Glenn (Steven Yeun) who is killed off but many believe that Glenn will be spared in the TV series because the studios already pulled off a stunt earlier in the season, teasing that Glenn may have been devoured by walkers only to showcase he survived.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 returns this October.
