"Teen Mom 2" has been rumored to be canceled, and MTV has been silent on when the show might push forward or when it will premiere. However, contrary to these rumors, season 8 has been in production, and the cast members have recently posted photos and videos celebrating their reunion for the series' one-hundredth episode, which will air as a part of season 8.

According to a report by Starcasm, Jenelle Evans appears to be the most active member of the show and has posted several photos and videos showcasing their reunion celebrations. Some of the images were posted on Snapchat, but she did release a clip that has been made available on Instagram.

Leah has also posted images on Instagram, showcasing the girls getting their hair and makeup done. Other photos showcase their mothers and guests, such as Javi Marroquin, Vee Torres, and Babs Evans. Vee is also shown in one photo holding on to Jo Rivera.

The exact details of the 100th episode are yet to be revealed, but based on the videos and photos, it is likely going to center around the fact that the reality show has made it this far. Given that this is a reality series, it is also speculated that the reunion celebration will not end without some of the girls getting into a feud.

However, the report reveals that MTV still has not announced when season 8 will premiere. These images do confirm that it has not been canceled. Given how the series has made it a habit to premiere early in the year, season 8 is likely going to premiere between January and March 2017.

Even though the show is moving forward with another season, it is possible that "Teen Mom 2" is going to end soon, with season 8 possibly being the final season of the show. MTV has yet to make any official announcements regarding the future of the series.
