"Shameless" season 6 is now just a month away and the official synopsis for the two-part premiere has been released on SpoilerTV. According to the plot outline, it appears Fiona (Emmy Rossum) will have her hands full as she deals with Debbie's (Emma Kenney) pregnancy and Ian's (Cameron Monaghan) medications.

The synopsis reveals that Fiona will be taking Debbie out to the clinic to get a pregnancy test. When it pops out positive and Debbie is indeed pregnant, the two reach opposite decisions on how to handle the situation. Fiona wants Debbie to abort the baby while Debbie thinks she can handle being a young teenage mom.

In order to prove Fiona wrong and to showcase she is capable of handling the responsibilities of being a mother, Debbie decides to carry a bag of flour with her to school. According to the synopsis, she'll be carrying the bag with her all day, perhaps as a proof of her commitment.

However, it is implied that things might not go according to Debbie's expectations. Debbie will learn that not everyone is as accommodating to mothers and babies as she had expected. It is heavily speculated that she may even feel the scorn of people who look down on teenage mothers.

Fiona will also have her own separate problem. As seen in the promotional trailer, she's been having a sexual affair with her boss and is later asked if she wants to accept a promotion as the assistant manager. This is brought up by the other staff to whom her boss denies the fact while still admitting that sleeping with Fiona is a "nice side benefit."

Other details include Carl (Ethan Cutcosky) getting out of juvenile prison and Ian not taking his medications. Lip (Jeremy Allen White) is also shown sleeping with his teacher but only because her husband allows him to.

"Shameless" season 6 premieres this Jan. 10 with the second part following on Jan. 17.
