Last week, it was reported that "Scream Queens" has been renewed for another season on Fox and that the show's setting will transition from the university to a hospital. Show creator Ryan Murphy has yet to confirm which characters will be returning for the new season, but a new report claims that the series is adding new cast members for season 2.

According to E! Online, "Scream Queens" will be adding four new male cast members, who will all be playing doctors. The actors will reportedly be in their late 20s to early 30s and casting search is said to be underway. It is expected that Murphy will be casting familiar names for the roles.

Last season, the show had a stellar lineup which included main cast members Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele, Billie Lourd, and Abigail Breslin. Rounding out the cast were Niecy Nash, Glen Powell, Oliver Hudson and Diego Boneta, and the season also featured guest stars such as pop stars Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas. Deadline reports that Curtis, Michele, Roberts, Breslin, Lourd, and Palmer are all expected to return as most of the main stars of the show are said to have multi-year contract deals.

And it appears that more singers are coming to the show as last October, Murphy revealed at the "Scream Queens" Fan Fright Fest Q&A that a very successful male pop star will be joining the cast soon.

"I've gotten a lot of emails," Murphy said (via Access Hollywood). "A big pop star…A male pop star next season."
While the show creator remained mum about the pop star's identity, fans at the venue started naming singers such as Adam Lambert and Shawn Mendes. Hollywoodlife speculates that Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, or Niall Horan might be the male pop star that Murphy is referring to.

A return date for "Scream Queens" has yet to be announced, but it is expected that the show will return to Fox this fall.
