In the next episode of "Scorpion," Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) hits his head and becomes unconscious, which makes him enter a dream world where the team never existed.

The synopsis and promotional photos into the upcoming installment, titled "A Christmas Car-Roll," were just released recently and showed O'Brien in the vicinity of a car accident. A truck apparently hit the vehicle, which overturned, and there appears someone trapped inside it.

O'Brien takes a look inside and is shocked to find out that it is actually him who is fastened to the seat. Ray (Kevin Weisman), who is also there, tells the confused O'Brien, "My guess is that extra Walter in there is a manifestation of your real-life physical state." The Scorpion leader then realizes that if he saves the injured O'Brien, he would also be saving himself.

Ray further adds, "Saving him is you fighting to stay alive. I think you may have some help. Listen." He suddenly hears Florence (Tina Majorino), who is actually in the real world, but her voice comes from the sky. "You have to get back to the garage. I just came in to give him my present and I found him bleeding on the ground," Florence says to the person on her phone. O'Brien was unconscious and has been dreaming all this time. It remains to be seen if his friends will be able to save him in time to stop the bleeding.

In the last episode, Team Scorpion saved a dog that fell through a hole and got stuck in the cistern. The owner of the dog was very happy to see her dog return safely. O'Brien just filled up the hole with water, and the dog floated to the top.

"Scorpion" season 4 episode 12 will hit the airwaves on Monday, Dec. 18, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
