Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro specs rumors: Upcoming flagship's features leaked online

Fresh from the Galaxy S7 launch, South Korea-based Samsung Electronics is not yet finished unveiling its 2016 product lineups. Instead of waiting until the end of the year, it is being said that the tech giant will be launching the Galaxy A9 Pro soon as the iteration was supposedly seen online.

In a report by Phone Arena, it is said that the Galaxy A9 Pro was recently seen on a number of websites and benchmark sites, along with its specs and features. The industry follower collated some of the rumored features of the device, and based on the internals, it is a notch above the Galaxy A9.

Reportedly, the Galaxy A9 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 652 chipset, which is also found in the original Galaxy A9. But what is surprising is that Samsung paired the processor with 4 GB of RAM. The upcoming iteration is also said to carry Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 right out of the box.

Since the Galaxy A9 Pro has already been seen on a number of websites, it can be expected that Samsung plans to release the flagship soon.

According to Gadgets by NDTV, another hint that the upcoming iteration is coming soon is that the device was seen on the website of TENAA, a China-based organization that gives certification to mobile devices. On the TENAA list, the 4GB RAM capacity has been confirmed, along with the Android platform version. Additional features such as a 6-inch display with full HD resolution, 32 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128 GB and a 16MP rear camera and 5MP selfie shooter are also listed on the certification body's website.

As for its release date, no specific launch has been set yet, although fans may expect the Galaxy A9 Pro to come out before the release of the Galaxy Note 6.
