"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will be introducing drastic changes and additions to the franchise, such as special moves solely for the Alola versions of Pokémon. One such change has recently been shown, revealing that Alola Exeggutor will be gaining a new move called Dragon Hammer.

The new move was mentioned in the latest episode of "Neko Mario Time," and it reveals that the Alola version of Exeggutor is a Dragon-Grass type hybrid. Unfortunately, the Dragon Hammer is listed, but the video does not show how it works or what kind of effects it may do to the opponent's Pokemon.

iDigital Times states that it may be a physical version of the move Draco Meteor. Draco Meteor is a special attack with a base power of 130. However, while Draco Meteor deals a lot of damage to the enemy, it also decreases the user's Special Attack stat for the duration of the fight.

The report states that Dragon Hammer may be the physical version of that move. It is speculated to deal a lot of damage, but it may reduce the user's Attack instead of their Special Attack stat.

It is also speculated that it may be a different version of the Wood Hammer, a move that the regular Exeggutor knows from previous games. Wood Hammer has a base power of 120, but using it deals recoil damage to the user. Dragon Hammer may be similar.

A previous report also reveals that some Pokémon will be gaining special Z-Moves such as the Catastropika move for Pikachu and the Extreme Evoboost for Eevee. However, the Dragon Hammer is unlikely to be a Z-Move and more likely to be a special Dragon move just for the Alola version of Exeggutor.

It is also unclear if the move will be available for other Dragon-type Pokémon.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is scheduled to roll out fo the 3DS on Nov. 18.
