While there has been no concrete release date for the hit anime One Punch Man Season 2 despite being greenlighted as early as December 2015, fans need not panic as creator Yusuke Murata assured that the second outing will pack even more action than the first season.

In the first season, chief hero Saitama was able to defeat Lord Boros, a powerful alien invader whose mission is to defeat the galaxy's most powerful warriors.

However, a report by Movie News Guide hinted that despite his defeat, the alien may return to face off with Saitama once again for a rematch that promises to be more intense than the first showdown.

Aside from Lord Boros, it is rumored that Garou is also being developed as a possible villain. As a former student of S-Class rank 3 hero Silver Fang, it is believed that because of his growing bitterness, he will be exiled by his master.

Another interesting antagonist this upcoming season is Amai Mask, a hero who turns dark when he goes overboard in wanting to eliminate evildoers.

According to a report by Parent Herald, there are also reports that Saitama himself will turn dark and fight his former comrade Genos, but it remains to be seen if this will happen.

More than fighting, it is rumored that Saitama will finally find a love interest in Season 2.

Fans are hoping that producers are working on a render of a new female character who will make the hero giddy with affection.

Meanwhile, it has been reported by Gizmondo that the English dubbed version of One Punch man recently started airing on Toonami.

The voice cast is made up of talents like Max Mittelman as Saitama, Zach Aguilar as Genos, Erik Scott Kimerer as Speed O'Sound Sonic and Robbie Daymond as Mumen Rider.
