As far as the public could see, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's relationship was like a ping-pong match. It kept going back and forth, until one player finally decided to give up and move on.
Gomez has finally moved on from the 20-year-old singer and she is now with DJ Zedd. As for Bieber, he played cool and also moved on to model Hailey Baldwin. But who was he kidding? According to reports, even Baldwin could tell that he is completely not over his ex.
Celeb Dirty Laundry recently reported about Gomez and Bieber's dinner date gone awry. The two decided to meet, with Gomez allegedly hoping Bieber would beg for her to come back. However, he didn't, and rumor has it that he just talked about himself that night. So, after the dinner, Gomez reportedly went back into the arms of Zedd and Bieber called up Baldwin.
Bieber and Baldwin spent time together during the holidays, but after that, he reportedly went cold. CDL was able to capture Baldwin's bitter tweets, which are now deleted.
On Jan. 24, Baldwin tweeted, "You know what's crazy, I hear you but I don't listen to you."
In an older tweet dated Jan. 18, Baldwin retweeted, "Treat me like a joke and I'll leave you like it's funny."
Many believe that these tweets were targeted toward the Canadian singer, who allegedly stopped pursuing her when the new year came. However, he may just be staying true to himself as reports say that his breakup with Gomez really hit him hard. He didn't realize that Gomez would actually move on.
So, did Baldwin really mean those tweets or were they just a result of a burst of emotion? According to Hollywood Life's recent update on this story, Baldwin is playing cool and isn't taking it personally.
"She knows where she stands with Justin and she's fine with it. She's not trying to compete with Selena or take her place, she knows the deal and she isn't trying to push Justin for more than he can give her," a source said.
Elsewhere, Bieber has so many reasons to feel broken hearted right now because Gomez is very happy with Zedd. A source shared that Zedd is number one in her life.
"Selena says Zedd makes her feel happy and peaceful, and that being with him is addictive — in a good way," the source said.
