Disney's "High School Musical 4" is on the horizon and a lot of fans are waiting for its release, especially the reuniting of the original cast. However, it was confirmed that Ashley Tisdale will not be part of the upcoming installment as Sharpay Evans. The five new leads of "High School Musical 4" have already been released and they are a bunch of dynamic teens who are ready to take over East High.

GamenGuide previously reported that Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) will be returning to East High in the upcoming "High School Musical 4" as faculty members. Zac will be the basketball coach of East High's Wild Cats, while Gabriella will be the school's glee club adviser. With this news, fans are expecting the rest of the original cast to make an appearance.

Unfortunately, Sharpay will not be seen in "High School Musical 4." E! News confirmed that Tisdale told New You magazine that she will not be returning in the upcoming movie. Tisdale said, "Looking back, it was such a perfect thing for its time and was so pure that I just don't know how you go from there. 'High School Musical' didn't make us, we made 'High School Musical' because of our friendship, how close we were and the magic there at the time."

Sharpay may not be going back to East High, but her cousin is. E! News reports that there are five new leads in "High School Musical 4," and one of them is the Evans' cousin named Campbell. He is the soccer captain and theater star of East High, just like Troy used to be.

The other students to take over East High are Erin, the only female soccer player in the boys' team; Derek, the bad boy soccer player and an incredible dancer who teaches dance to little girls in their family studio; Nathalie, Erin's BFF and cheerleader; and Tamara, a cheerleader and the former queen bee of East High who plans to get back on top and reign over the school once again.
