Mutiny will make a valiant effort to survive amid the challenge of having a new competition in the upcoming episode of AMC's period drama series "Halt and Catch Fire."

In "Kali," Cartermatt reports that Cameron's (Mackenzie Davis) company will take a serious hit after new rival company, WestNet, comes into the picture. The agency is purportedly owned by Jacob Wheeler (James Cromwell), and that it is his plan all along to set WestNet lose on Mutiny in case the acquisition deal fails.

The website also posits that Joe (Lee Pace) and Cameron's relationship may take on a highly personal approach, as they eventually start understanding one another. Where will this burgeoning attraction lead? Meanwhile, Gordon's (Scoot McNairy) attempt to overcome his paranoia may have terrifying results.

Last episode was a tumultuous one for most of the characters. Joe found out the hard way that Jacob and Westgroup Energy was planning an entirely different approach to break Mutiny. Apparently, the idea was to steal Mutiny's network and customer base, and they sent Joe to distract Cameron and the employees to accomplish it. Now, the entire work force of Mutiny hates him, thinking he was in the heist all along.

To top it all off, his father-in-law sent him away without so much as a by-your-leave after expressing his decision to leave Westgroup. Jacob was already conferring with his substitute, and had no more time to waste listening to his ideas.

Meanwhile, Cameron soon realized that the heart of Mutiny lies on the online chat application Community, and not the games she had spent a lot of energy into. She also admitted to Donna (Kerry Bishé) that she had been unfair, holding back the latter's ideas.

The episode ended with the night's most shocking plot of all. Gordon had been arrested after a break-in attempt. It appeared that his brain damage was causing him to have extreme hallucinations and paranoia.

"Halt and Catch Fire" airs Sunday at 10 p.m. EST on AMC.
