A dilemma is in front of Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, as he needs to choose between two excellent quarterbacks on who will start for their Divisional Playoff game on Jan. 17.

First quarterback is the face of the franchise Peyton Manning, who returned last Sunday and helped Denver rally to win over the San Diego Chargers and take the top seed in the American Football Conference (AFC).

Manning is coming off a six-game layoff after suffering a torn plantar fascia in a Week 10 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.

In their win over the Chargers, Manning also, for the first time in his career in the National Football League (NFL), played the backup role, but still did a great job.

Earlier reports stated that Kubiak said Manning will again be the Broncos' starter once healthy, but it seems like that changed with the younger Brock Osweiler playing well during the veteran's absence.

In seven starts this season, Osweiler went 5–2 with Kubiak already preaching confidence in him saying, according to 9News, "I guarantee you he knows I've got confidence in him and he knows his team has confidence in him."

Kubiak also said they would not be in the position they are now of it were not for Osweiler who has done a "great job."

Now, the question is who will start when the Broncos begin their playoff campaign, Kubiak is not giving any answer and said in a report by The Denver Post, "I have nothing for you today. I have no timeline. I am focused on how to get our team ready for the next opponent."

The 54-year-old head coach added, "I don't have any concern because our team understands we always have direction. They know. We get direction, and we've got direction."

As Kubiak keeps silent, the football world will have to wait on who will get the starting nod at the quarterback position for the Broncos.
