Colleges Hold Special Bible Exhibits in Succession

Southern Methodist University in Dallas in U.S. is helding "Bible in English: Before and After the Hampton Court Conference, 1604" exhibit at the Bridwell Library in it.

60 rare English Bibles, historical notes and research findings are on display. Visitors can see From Wycliffite Bible of the early 1400s to the first edition of the King James Bible, printed in 1611.

Those displyed at SMU's exhibit will form the bases of displays at Princeton University and the University of Manchester in England?but with rare Bibles taken mostly from those universities' own collections.

The exibit at SMU will be continued through April 16, then exhibits would be held at Princeton from May 2 through Aug.8, and at University of Manchester in England from Sep. 2006 in their own styles.
