The second half of "Castle" season 8 will finally begin next Monday, and  Rick and Kate fans will be in for a treat.

Based on the promo for episode 9 titled "Tone Death," Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) will secretly flirt with each other.

The midseason finale revealed that the couple had to fake their separation because Beckett wanted to remain undercover in order to bring down LokSat. But it seems like being away from each other for a few months has made their hearts grow fonder.

"Is it wrong that I wanna kiss you right now?" Kate tells Rick in the promo video.

"So wrong it's right," Rick answered.

Since the two are still keeping their reconciliation a secret, Kate immediately slaps Rick when their peers begin to arrive.

However, when the two finally gets a chance to be alone together, they finally share an intimate moment in bed.

"You successfully completed your agenda," Rick tells Kate, to which she replies, "Three times."

Aside from Rick and Kate's relationship, the upcoming episode will also feature the world of tough high school a capella competitions. One of the students who joined the contest was murdered.

The episode will feature "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu.

The synopsis for the episode reads:

"When a body is found in the theater of Martha's latest show, Castle and Beckett's investigation leads them into the unexpectedly dangerous world of competitive a capella."

Meanwhile, the 10th episode of "Castle" season 8 is titled "Witness for the Prosecution." The episode will show Rick taking a stand in court as a key witness for a murder that happened five months ago. But things will suddenly turn bad, which will require him and Kate to act fast to avoid miscarriage of justice.

"Castle" season 8 will return on air on Monday, Feb. 8, on ABC.
