'Breaking Amish' season 3 spoilers: Cast headed to New York City

"Breaking Amish" is a story about a family practicing the Amish culture and tradition. But this Season 3, two of the cast might just leave their Amish life and try exploring the outside world for a change.

The new season, to premiere Wednesday, will feature the cast in New York City. However, not everyone will be retuning this season, says NY Daily News.

Miriam Troyer, a cast member of "Breaking Amish" says that she built her confidence by being part of the show. But, "they were brought up being taught that everything outside the Amish world is bad," reports Examiner.

Troyer sounds like she wants to explore what's outside the Amish life, which is where New York City comes in the picture. The premiere on Wednesday will be exactly about Troyer and Vonda Shrock, leaving the Amish life and heading to The Big Apple.

While it may sound like good news for the two, Season 3 will also show the drama that came with the decision, including when they told their family what they planned to do.

This isn't the first time Troyer and Shrock is doing this. Once, they left their Amish lives but it was for the tradition of Rumspringa, where they needed to explore the outside world. At that time, Troyer returned to her home with a son and her family wasn't pleased at all. Her family shunned her, but hopefully, this won't be the case anymore this season.

According to The Wrap, Season 3 will have 10 episodes. Troyer and Shrock will live in Brooklyn. If the show does well, maybe they'll have an additional season ordered. That is if the fans are happy to see a break from the authentic Amish lives to happen in New York City.
