Eager fans have been waiting for the first trailer of "Batman v Superman" for quite some time ever since the film was announced, but Warner Bros. is still silent about its airing.

Earlier reports claimed that the highly anticipated trailer would be shown on Feb. 1 at the Super Bowl XLIX but it was a no-show. Then other reports mentioned that it would come out alongside Andy and Lana Wachowski's "Jupiter Ascending," which debuted in North America on Feb. 6. However, the film's release date came to pass but the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer was still kept in the dark. 

Recently, Franchise Herald reported about several speculations pointing to "Mad Max: Fury Road" as the next possible spot for the trailer to be released. The George Miller-helmed film will be launched on May 15 and it stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Nicholas Hoult, and Zoe Kravitz, among others. 

Also, there are reports claiming that Warner Bros. can choose to debut the trailer on May 1, during the premiere date of Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" featuring the return of the star-studded Avengers team led by Robert Downy Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo. 

These are probably the best venues for the launching of the "Batman v Superman" trailer, since it is expected that these two movies will rake in more moviegoers during their release dates. 

But in case Warner Bros. chooses to prolong the wait even more, it can opt to release the trailer during the scheduled Comic Con International that will be held in July.

For now, fans just need to be content with the photos and videos posted by "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder in his Twitter account before the film premieres on March 25, 2016.
