Oliver (Stephen Amell) will learn something shocking about Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) in the upcoming episode of The CW series "Arrow."

In "Beyond Redemption," Comicbook reports that Olie will be asking Lance to do something for him, and while he expected the latter's response, he will be stunned with what he will learn after. Meanwhile, Laurel's (Katie Cassidy) hasty decision to bring Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) to Nanda Parbat will have a damaging outcome. Black Canary will be facing some serious consequences for her actions. Will she be able to make up for what she did?

Last episode, Laurel and Thea (Willa Holland) asked Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Nyssa (Katrina Law) to bring Sara back to life through the Lazarus Pit. While Malcom was against it at first, he agreed to do it to appease Thea. His daughter was angry at him for manipulating her. After she has come back from the brink of death, Thea has been feeling an inexplicable bloodlust. Malcolm said this was the repercussion of using the pit, and it would go away if she killed once in a while.

Thea was horrified with what she has become and refused to give in to the urge. Her father then set up two assassins to threaten her, and she ended up killing them both. The International Business Times reports that to pacify her, he agreed to bring Sara back. When she woke up, however, she was not the same anymore. That was when Nyssa revealed that Malcolm has tampered with the Lazarus Pit, which led to his promotion as the head of the League of Assassins.

Meanwhile, Oliver and Diggle (David Ramsey) have patched up their relationship in the face of a new threat in Star City. The villain Double Down (JR Bourne) has come to wreak havoc and even tried to kill Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Oliver also proved that he was still Diggle's friend when he took a playing card to the chest that was meant for the latter. Luckily, his armor saved his life and they were able to apprehend Double Down.

"Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
