The top 10 movies for families

Soul Surfer, Tintin and Hugo are in the running for best family movie at this year’s Faith & Values Awards.

The awards, now in their twentieth year, take place in Los Angeles on February 10 and will honour wholesome, family friendly, inspiring and uplifting movies, videos and programmes.

Ten flicks will be honoured in the Best 2011 Movies for Families category, with one to be announced as the overall best.

The awards are held each year by Movieguide, an organisation promoting better values and biblical principles in Hollywood.
