Sherlock season 4 spoilers, air date: Surprises, tragedies expected for upcoming new season

This was revealed by BBC where filming for the fourth season is scheduled to commence this month. Proof of this is that two stars of the show, Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch were spotted filming over at the Coston Hall in Bristol, England.

The set is said to be part of a Christmas special episode that will be shown later on in the year after which a three episode season will follow.

But apparently, what fans are eagerly awaiting in season 4 is on whether Molly (played by Louise Brealey) and Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) would end up marrying each other.

While both have remained friends, a kissing scene in season 3 drew raves from fans thus placing more twists in the romantic angle between the two who still have feelings for each other. However, with Janine still in the picture, it will be interesting to see how things pan out in this love angle.

And don't forget about Dr. Watson who in season 3 wed Mary Morstan. With Morstan pregnant in season 3, chances are we will see Watson portray a more fatherly role thus meaning some slight adjustments between him and Sherlock.

In what many may not like, there will be darker angles and devastations in store for Season 4. This could mean (character) deaths in the fourth season and it will be interesting to see who Steven Moffat is pertaining too with this one.

Women will reportedly be given more parts in season 4 meaning Molly and Mrs. Hudson (Una Stubbs) will be given more exposure.

And then of course there is Holme' third brother who many believe will be played by Tom Hiddleston from "Thor" and "the Avengers".

These and more shockers are said to be what is in store for Sherlock Season 4 so watch out for it.
