Pentecost Festival goes national
Published 24 October 2012
The annual London-wide Pentecost Festival will be rolling out across the UK for the first time next year.
Pentecost Festival is run each year by Share Jesus International to show off the best of the church and everything it is engaging in, from dance and the arts, to theology, fashion and science.
The aim is not only to celebrate the church's birthday, but share the message of Pentecost with local communities.
This week saw the nationwide launch of the event under the title of The Biggest Birthday Party Ever.
Share Jesus has joined forces with Hope Together and Fusion to take Pentecost Festival to the furthest corners of the UK.
Between now and Pentecost they will be getting the word out and making contact with as many churches as possible to get them involved.
Share Jesus will also be telling people more about how they can become party organisers on its nationwide Time of our Lives Tour.
The tour kicked off in Weymouth this week and will be encouraging churches to build on the momentum gained from their outreach during the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics.
