It is expected that fans will have more concrete details about the upcoming space exploration sandbox game "No Man's Sky" before the year ends, as it is confirmed that developer Hello Games will showcase the title at the upcoming Sony 2015 PSX slated for Dec. 5 to Dec. 6 in San Francisco, California.

According to VCPost, eagle-eyed fans have taken a look at the official promo clip for this year's PSX event, and the trailer footage uploaded on the PlayStation YouTube channel offers a brief glimpse of "No Man's Sky." In addition, aside from the Hello Games triple-A title, other games are also showcased in the promo trailer, including the upcoming "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" by Naughty Dog, and what might be the new installment for the "Street Fighter" franchise.

"No Man's Sky" had an original intended release date of December 2015, as noted by previous interviews and reports from Hello Games. However, during this year's Paris Games Week event, Sean Murray, Hello Games' director, took to the stage to announce that the title encountered some difficulties and that the developer needed to push back the intended release date for the title.

"No Man's Sky" is now slated for a June 2016 release as a PS4 exclusive.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that because of the new release date schedule, players may get a chance to experience "No Man's Sky" on the PlayStation VR. Although not directly answering the query about the VR component of the game, Murray was quoted by GamesRadar earlier this year. Apparently, any update on possible tie-ins with PlayStation VR is still under wraps.

Murray said, "I don't know what I'm allowed to say. It's something we're thinking about. Morpheus, Oculus... There's nothing more cool and sci-fi than VR and a big procedural universe. I think that, for the people who want to just explore, and even for the space combat and things like that, it would be a good fit. Let's put it that way."
