In the midst of the hot and humid weather, the audience remained enegergised as the afternoon opened up with a powerful message by Alice Smith, the Executive Director of the U.S. Prayer Centre and a member of America’s national prayer committee.
Following was an intensive message delivered by Pastor Munsey, the founder and senior pastor of Family Christian Centre, one of North America’s most dynamic churches. Known for using his talent in drama to present the word of God in illustrated sermons, an immense reaction was revealed in the audience as Pastor Munsey acted out scenes in the story of Jacob along to dramatic music.
In addition, a dynamic praise and worship session was led by Noel Robinson & Nu Image, Earl Harrigan & Cindy Price, and Ron Kenoly.Preachers at the six-day event include Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, Matthew Ashimolowo, Benny Hinn, Tayo Adeyemi, Senior Minister of New Wine Church, London, Bishop John Francis, Founder and Senior Pastor of Ruach Ministries in Brixton, London, and RT Kendall, former Minister of Westminster Chapel and author of ‘Believing God’.
The gathering is spearheaded by Dr Morris Cerullo, an internationally known evangelist based in San Diego, California.
Praise leader Ron Kenoly, who worked with Dr Cerullo for over 25 years, told Christian Today, “There is a variety of things that Mission to London will accomplish, and people are encouraged to go out and declare the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of Christ.
“There is a prophetic word that is near to Dr. Morris Cerullo’s heart. And he wants to encourage all others to prepare for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.”“Dr Morris Cerullo is really a man of God,” commented Adrian Nwangoro, 27, a Mission to London attendee. “I’ve been coming here since the 1990’s, and the event always presented so many great teachings.”
According to Dr Cerullo, 500 people had already stepped forward from the crowds on the first night to accept Jesus into their lives. He expressed Mission to London’s aim to bring thousands more by the end of the week.
Mission to London will run at London's Earls Court 2 Arena until Saturday 22 July.
