The Jesus Surf Classic will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year at Croyde Bay, 8 -9 September.
This year's event will be the biggest ever, according to organisers, with a slight change in the categories.
Due to continuing growth in the longboarding event, Christian Surfers UK will be running this as a new stand alone event, the 'Jesus Longboard Classic'. This will be held at Polzeath over the weekend of 6 - 7 October, and expanded to include Open, Junior and Women's categories.
As before, over 100 Christian Surfers helpers from around the country will be involved in organising the weekend. There will be a skate park, marquee, BBQ and surf and skate movies shown on the large screen.
The surf contest is organised and run by Christian Surfers UK, and this year there is over £2,000 of prize money on offer between the eight categories, with the open surfing winner receiving £250.
Contestants are being advised this year to get their entry forms in early after last year's event was over-subscribed with more than 160 entries,
