Christian artist Jeremy Camp performed before a sold-out crowd of over 5,000 people recently at an Evan Almighty-sponsored gig.

Crossover artists Switchfoot and Relient K also performed at the concert, which was held at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.

The day before the concert, Camp and the bands attended the Los Angeles premiere of Evan Almighty, the upcoming sequel to Bruce Almighty.

The movie is based on the story of Noah in Genesis where Noah must build an ark before a flood comes to wipe out all of humanity.

"The flood's coming and I want you, Evan Baxter, to build an ark," says Morgan Freeman, who plays "God," in the film.

Baxter, played by Steve Carell, was in the previous instalment of the film as a lead newscaster. In the sequel he has been recently elected to Congress and finds himself moving with his family to suburban northern Virginia.

Once there, however, Baxter is given a mandate by God to build an ark of biblical proportions. Among the ensuing work, his family must distinguish whether Evan is just going through a mid-life crisis or whether he is legitimately working for "the Big Guy".

Evan Almighty is to be released on 22 June in the United States. The UK premiere is slated for August.
