Multi-platinum selling, multi-Grammy Award winning Christian band Jars of Clay prepare to launch a spring schedule of shows throughout the United States and Canada this year, featuring special guests NEEDTOBREATHE.

Reflecting on a successful, acclaim-filled 2006, which featured the release of the much-heralded album, Good Monsters, Jars of Clay's Dan Haseltine said, "It was great getting to play our new songs on the road, but I think my favourite part about touring is being able to reconnect with and make new fans."

Good Monsters, completely self-produced by the band, offers 11 original songs, and a remake of the Julie Miller-penned anthem, "All My Tears."

The album boasts a couple of stirring guest appearances: Nashville-based singer/songwriter extraordinaire Kate York guests on "Even Angels Cry", and formerly of Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash, sings on "Mirrors and Smoke". Additionally, the African Children's Choir is featured on the moving, "Light Gives Heat", a song inspired by their work in Africa through their non-profit organisation, the Blood:Water Mission.

Long considered a critical success, Jars of Clay have also enjoyed major commercial success over their decade-long career, including a double-platinum selling debut project, and more than 5 million records sold in total.

In addition, South Carolina-based quartet NEEDTOBREATHE will highlight songs from their debut record Daylight, which has been critically acclaimed from fans all across America.
