Grand Theft Auto players may now expect to combat zombies in the latest GTA V downloadable game, as the Official Playstation Magazine UK recently revealed its October 2014 cover wherein the walking dead is said to be hovering over the famous game's DLC.

According to International Digital Times, the Playstation magazine hinted that the latest DLC intended for GTA V may feature zombies in its interface.

Aside from the GTA V news, the magazine's October issue also features updates about several other games such as the Dead Island 2 as well as the newest Resident Evil.

On the other hand, an article posted on Kotaku mentioned that the latest DLC for GTA V will offer an exclusive treat for PlayStation 4 users. It was discussed by PlayStation marketing vice president for North America John Koller. He said, "GTA V is going to be, I think, a title we'll talk about more in the weeks and months to come, but GTA V and the GTA franchise is something that will be something very special on PlayStation."

The possible public release for the new GTA V DLC will happen sometime in October or November this year. However, no official announcement had been made as yet.

But what will happen to the GTA V Online Heist DLC if the rumors about the zombie DLC happen to be true? A representative from Rockstar Games, the game developers of GTA, released an apology and an explanation of why the Heist DLC had been delayed.

The public apology stated, "We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated. We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can."

The reports about GTA V Zombie DLC and its official release date still need to be verified by Rockstar Games soon.
