'emergingculture', an initiative which is part of the Share Jesus family existing to communicate the message of Jesus, is hoping to gather teens, students and young men at Raynes Park for a four day event in October focusing on teaching, mission and worship.

The event will mark the first annual '/gathering', which aims to become the meeting place of '/thoughts' magazine readers in South West London.

The theme of the gathering will be 'The Gospel, the whole Gospel and nothing but the Gospel', and will look at how the Gospel impacts relationships, the world and issues of justice.

Andy Frost, emergingculture director has said, "This is our first ec*/gathering, following on from ec*/event at Easter People, and we're really stoked about what God is going to do through it.

"We've got a packed line up of worship and teaching, alongside stacks of mission projects."

Organisers have insisted the event will be "full of worship experiences, interactive talks, dialogue groups, gigs, and practical sessions" with the goal of stimulating attendees.

Music and worship will be provided by 29th Chapter, onehundredhours, Sounds of Salvation, The Steels, Ben Cantelon, Jon Bilborough & Where on Earth.

In addition, speakers will include Andrew Sampson, renowned bible expositor; Eils Shipton, Director of Worship at St Johns Harborne; Andy Frost, emergingculture director; and David Muir, New Initiatives Co-ordinator for Christian Aid.

The event takes place from 20-23 October. For more information please visit: www.emergingculture.co.uk/gathering
