Teenage Christian rock star Krystal Meyers will be going on an international tour again this year by taking her live shows to Hong Kong and Guatemala.

Meyers, 19, will perform back-to-back nights in Guatemala November 30 and December 1, prior to her journey to Hong Kong for her December 5 concert.

Since debuting with her self-titled album via Essential Records at the age of 16, Meyers has often been described as the "Christian Avril Lavigne", based on her sound and style.

The teen has also become a sensation in Japan, having toured the country several times last year. Her single "Anticonformity" hit No 1 in Japan, beating Red Hot Chili Peppers from the top slot.

Meyers released her second album, Dying for a Heart, the year after her first. Her third album is expected to be released in June 2008 and will only add to the 250,000 album sales worldwide.

In other news, Meyers recently received a Gospel Music Channel Video Award nomination for her music video accompanying "Hallelujah" in the Contemporary video category.

The first-ever Gospel Music Channel Video Awards winners will be announced on-air during the special "Hot List: Viewers' Choice 2007" on Saturday 29 December, 7pm EST. Voting ends Sunday 2 December.
