Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper or Chris Hemsworth in Indiana Jones 5?

Chris Pratt could still be reeling from the box-office success of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' but that doesn't mean that 'Star-Lord' or Peter Quill from the said movie, will stop there. Sure Pratt is set to appear in a number of other films like 'Jurassic World' and 'Magnificent Seven' but what could be the biggest challenge of it all are rumors linking him to be the new Indiana Jones.

After Disney acquired the Indiana Jones franchise, Pratt's name is included among the list of potential stars that could take the lead role. Other stars in mention are Bradley Cooper and Chris Hemsworth.

And the thought alone does seem to interest Pratt, though no official word has been released yet on whether he would be given the lead role made popular by icon Harrison Ford.

If Pratt gets the nod, he will have pretty big shoes to fill. Indiana Jones was something that Star Wars creator George Lucas came up with back in 1981 under the official title of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark.'

A sequel came in 1984 with 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,' and a third installment in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.'

The last installment came in 2008 when Harrison Ford starred last together with Shia LaBeouf in 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.'

Now, Disney plans to reboot Indy and Pratt seems to be in a good position to land the lead role. Considering his role in 'Jurassic World,' the transition could be a logical one although it remains to be seen how he performs in the dinosaur-themed film.

On a side note, Harrison Ford could also appear in the reboot if given the opportunity. Ford made it known that he could appear in another Indiana Jones film despite his age although it may not necessarily be the lead.
