The Bishop of London will deliver a series of talks throughout Lent on the subject of 'Missing God'.
The four talks on 'Missing God' will feature the Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Dr Richard Chartres, addressing an audience at St Stephen Walbrook. Each session will be followed by an open questions and answers session.The talks will be unique in that Bishop Chartres has chosen to use the latest technology to reach out to as many as possible. The series will be recorded for broadcast through the internet on Premier.tv.
"It's fantastic news that Christian leaders like the Bishop of London are utilising technology to get their message out to the people," Premier TV's Programme Controller, Kristie Winsen reported. "By implementing technology available to us, we can begin to share the gospel with a much wider audience, which is exactly what the Bishop of London is doing."
"The Bishop of London has chosen London's Internet Church, St Stephen Walbrook for the setting of his Lent talks," Winsen said. "This historical church, designed by Sir Christopher Wren will be the first church in England dedicated to producing virtual services for Christians across the world over the internet.
"The beauty and atmosphere of this famous church brings a special quality to the recordings of the Bishop's lent talks."
The first of the four talks, is already available to view on the Christian streaming channel, Premier.tv.
