Millions of Americans will skip Thanksgiving dinner tonight brave the crowds to nab the best deals at major retailers.

This is the best time of year to get the best bargain for electronics such as TVs, laptops, tablets, smartphones and more.

See below to check out the best places to grab certain items on Thanksgiving day.

SMARTPHONES

Those looking to upgrade to a new phone with a two-year contract can find one of the best deals at Walmart and Best Buy.

Walmart will sell the iPhone 5C for $45 and give you a $75 gift card in return. Buy a Moto X handset for $50 and receive a $100. The retail giant will also give you a $75 gift card for the purchase of an iPhone 5S for $189, bringing the total cost of the latest iPhone with a two-year contract for just $114.

Best Buy will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone for free; HTC One for $30; and LG G2 for $25.

TABLETS

We've looked high and low, and the best deals for the iPad Air is Target's offer of the latest tablet for $479 with a $100 gift card thrown in. This brings the cost to $379.

Target will also give you a $75 gift card for the purchase of an iPad Mini, and Best Buy will give you a $100 gift card for the purchase of an iPad Mini for $299.

Target and Barnes & Noble will also be selling the Nook HD tablet for $79, down from $129. The Nook Simple Touch reading tablet is also marked down for just $39 (down from $70) at Barnes & Noble.

Looking to buy the LeapPad 2 tablet for your children this Christmas? The tablet, which topped Christmas lists last year, is selling for just $39.99 at Toys 'R' Us on Thanksgiving Day.

The Nabi 2 7inch 8GB tablet for kids is being sold by Walmart for $99.

LAPTOPS

Looking to buy a new Macbook Pro this year? Go to Best Buy for the best deals for Macbook Air and Pro with Retina Display notebooks. Best Buy will sell the latest 13 inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display for just $1100, which is $200 off of the regular retail price of $1300. The Macbook Air will also be sold with a a $150 discount. The regular 13-inch Macbook Pro is being sold for $999. Apple has yet to reveal the discounted price for its products until Black Friday, but it will be difficult to trump this deal from Best Buy.

Retailers are offering laptop deals at a very cheap price ranging from $180 to $250. If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't, because the specs won't be the best. However, it is still worth a look if you are looking to buy a laptop for under $200. Be sure to check that the model of the laptop you are purchasing has the specs you want before rushing to snap up a notebook/tablet just for its bargain price.

Staples is advertising Amazon's Kindle HD for just $79, but it is the 2012 version. Same goes for the HP Chromebook being advertised for $179.99, which is also last year's model. However, for $179, the HP Chromebook is still a good price for any laptop.

HP's AMD E300 1.3GHz 16 inch laptop is also selling for just $178 at Walmart. This laptop comes with a dual-core processor and 500GBhard drive.

Best Buy is selling the ASUS Celeron 1.5GHz 12 inch Touch screen laptop for $249.99. It is also selling the Dell Inspiron Celeron 1.6GHz laptop for $178.

TVs/CONSOLES

Although the next-generation consoles Xbox One and Playstation 4 are already out in stores, some may want to purchase the Xbox 360 predecessor for a bargain.

Toys 'R' Us is selling the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle with Halo 3 for just $199.99.

Looking for a 50 inch HDTV this year? Head on over to Walmart to purchase a 50inch 1080p LED Backlit LCD HDTV for $288. A 32inch 720p LED Backlit LCD HDTV by Funai is also selling for just $98.

Other than electronics, goods for the home can also be purchased at bargain prices.

At Target, purchase a 20-piece Tefal cookware set and Shark professional steam mop for just $50 each.
