"American Horror Story: Hotel" aired a pivotal episode last week, and fans of the show finally learned the identity of the Ten Commandments killer.

While others thought that the big reveal might signal the beginning of a much more subdued storyline on the show, it turns out that show creator Ryan Murphy has something else up his sleeve. It has been announced that Sarah Paulson's season one character, psychic Billie Dean Howard, will be returning for the season finale.

Paulson is currently playing Hypodermic Sally on the show, and this means that in the finale, the actress will be playing two roles. This isn't anything new for Paulson, as she successfully pulled off dual roles in season 4, "Freak Show," playing conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler, for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

According to Entertainment Weekly, fans will learn in the finale that Billie Dean has her own reality series focusing on her psychic abilities and she comes to the Cortez hotel, thinking that it would be a very good setting for an episode of her show.

Meanwhile, "American Horror Story" continues to impress critics as the show recently got a Golden Globe nomination for Best TV Movie or Limited-Series. Lady Gaga, who made her television acting debut in the series, also got a nod for Best Actress in a Limited-Series or TV Movie category. Joining her in the category are Sarah Hay ("Flesh and Bone"), Felicity Huffman ("American Crime"), Queen Latifah ("Bessie") and Kirsten Dunst ("Fargo").

Lady Gaga took to Twitter on Thursday, Dec. 10, to share the good news and wrote, "I apologize to my neighbors I'm still screaming in my apt in NY! I'm nominated as an actress for a Golden Globe what a dream this is real!"

"American Horror Story: Hotel" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
