Jackson Oz (James Wolk) and his team will discover a nest of bloodthirsty rodents in the upcoming episode of CBS's drama series "Zoo."

In "The Cheese Stands Alone," TV Guide reports that a cargo ship will be washed ashore on the coast of Massachusetts. When the members come to investigate, they will find that rats have taken over the derelict. The terrifying infestation will be enough to cause months of nightmare to Oz, Abraham (Nonso Anozie), Jamie (Kristen Connolly), and Chloe (Nora Arnezeder). What will happen once the vicious vermin start moving towards land?

Meanwhile, veterinary pathologist Mitch (Billy Burke) is keeping a dangerous secret. He is planning a trade with Reiden Global to save his daughter, who has been battling a terminal illness. What will come of off this exchange? The biotechnological company has clearly demonstrated in the past what it can do to save its reputation. Is Mitch's life in peril?

Last episode, viewers saw Mitch going rogue. In exchange of the Mother Cell, he was offering Reiden Global a secret trial-stage-medication to cure Clementine's Glazier Syndrome. At the same time, he has been helping the team understand what was happening with the bear they managed to capture in their Paris mission.

It turned out that the Mother Cell had accelerated the process of mutation in the animal. After hibernating, the bear had developed an endoskeleton. Mitch believed that the change could be reversed, however, using the very substance that helped create it — the Mother Cell itself.

Meanwhile, Jamie has a new name. After killing FBI agent Ben Shaffer (Geoff Stults), she was forced to take the identity of one Nancy Armstrong. She discovered that Shaffer had been working with Reiden Global, and in the tussle that followed, the journalist managed to shoot him. The team then proceeded to hack into the company's finance system to prove their claim and hopefully clear Jamie's name to the authorities.

"Zoo" airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
