For the month of May, players for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 get three new games free for download as part of the Games with Gold program for the Xbox Live.

For the Xbox One, available all throughout the month of May, players can download "CastleStorm: Definitive Edition". The title is a combination of medieval combat and 2D physics-based demolition. In the game, players must manage the army and all of the elements in real time, doing battle by trying to annihilate the opponent. Players can choose between ballista-projected artillery pieces, numerous ground troops, and magical spells to either attack and finish the campaign or drive back the invaders.

The title includes two expansions for the game, "From Outcast to Savior" and "The Warrior Queen" expansion packs.

Meanwhile, players for the Xbox 360 get two new games, "Mafia II" and "F1 2013".

From May 1 to May 15, players can download "Mafia II", where the main character, Vito Scaletta, tries to make a name for himself while earning a living in America after World War II. An immigrant from Italy, players will have Vito drive around vicinities reminiscent of the '40s and '50s while achieving notoriety through a variety of tasks. Challenges include bank heists, taking on the local gangs, and getting involved with the underworld.

Meanwhile, players can download "F1 2013" from May 16 to May 31. This modern racing simulator places players behind the wheels of an F1 supercar. Complete with all the cars, courses, drivers from the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championships. A much-hyped title because of its realism in terms of design and gameplay, "F1 2013" also presents players with a treat, in the form of classic content from the 1980s.

The free content for the May edition of Games with Gold is available for download for Xbox Live Gold members.
