The upcoming sports fighting game "UFC 3" will not be officially launched until February, but select players who register for the title's beta program will be able to gain access to the game's beta version a lot earlier. "UFC 3" Beta will be launched on Nov. 27 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
According to EA Sports, the Beta version testing phase will run from Nov. 27 through Dec. 1. Registration requires players to be 18 years old or above, and have a persistent internet connection, an EA account, acceptance of EA's various policies, and an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus membership.
EA Sports also clarified that registration does not guarantee a slot in the beta program. Any achievements or status indicators collated in the beta version will not be transferred to the main game once it gets officially released.
There are a number of available modes in the Beta version. The Quick Fight and Fight Now Classic modes will be available for players to get a feel of the pure Ultimate Fighting experience in the octagon.
The UFC Ultimate Team mode will also be available. In this mode, players will be able to combine their custom-created UFC fighter with real-life fighters included in the game's roster.
The mode will include the new Fighter Chemistry system that allows pairing of specific moves to provide advantages to players' athletes. There will also be Ultimate Team Sets that include matching items and equipment for all the members of a player's team.
Lastly, the Beta version will include the Practice Mode AI, wherein players can input action sequences that the artificial intelligence will play back. This will allow players to practice the defense or offense that they can use against different combinations.
"UFC 3" is set to be released on Feb. 2 for Xbox One and PS4. Lightweight champion Connor McGregor will appear on the title's cover.
