"Tom Clancy's The Division" saw a brand-new DLC update released on June 28, titled "Underground," but as stated by Vine Report, it has been plagued with issues and glitches. Ubisoft launched a fix this past July 15 but now it appears that players can no longer redeem the freebies that Ubisoft had been giving out.
Ubisoft stated on their official site that update 1.3 would reward Season Pass owners by giving them access to rare treasure chests containing high level gear and other benefits. The chest is always dropped outside the Dark Zone, within the streets of New York.
"Its location will be indicated on the map, and the chest will be protected by a group of level 32 NPCs. By opening the chest players will receive 3 items of High-End or Gear Set quality adapted to their Gear Score. A new chest will automatically drop and replace the old one on the 1st and 15th of each month," reads the offical statement.
Despite this, the report reveals that numerous players have not been able to get their freebies and some are even experience game-breaking glitches that prevent the game from even booting up.
Some of the previous glitches have been addressed, such as the power of the G36 assault rifle being toned down back to a reasonable level. Prior to update 1.3 the rifle was more than enough to instantly take down a large group of enemies, almost instantly breaking the sense of balance with the game's weapons.
There is also going to be an update 1.4 which will also introduce exclusive drops that will appear randomly and more frequently. It is still unknown when Ubisoft will release update 1.5 or a brand new expansion to further fix some of the remaining glitches and bugs that are still in the game.
It is confirmed, as stated by Ecumenical News, that Ubisoft will launch the "Survival" and "Last Stand" modes by this Winter.
