'Tom Clancy's The Division' DLC: Update 1.2 launches May 24

PlayStation Lifestyle has announced that "Tom Clancy's The Division" is going to see a major update coming later this month. Update 1.2 will not see any weapon balancing tweaks but it will slightly nerf down the Brutal talent while also introducing minor adjustments to the Reckless talent.

According to the report, weapon balancing will be released in a future update that is said to be coming out soon, presumably before a major DLC pack is launched for the game. The shooter's Phoenix Credit limit is also said to see major overhauls although specific details have yet to be revealed.

The update will fix the Balanced weapon talent so that it will work as the developers originally intended. It is stated that this will prevent meta-gaming and shift the focus of gamers away from the M1A and to go for a wider variety of weapons. Changes to the Brutal weapon talent include it being additive and will now be properly shown in the UI.

Reckless will now be working as it should and the Sentry's "Call 4" piece bonus will be adjusted so it only works on semi-automatic weapons, toning it down due to how players managed to abuse the original mechanics. Performance Gear Mods will see a major buff to increase their overall performance and efficiency.

Update 1.2 will come with new gear sets to further provide diversity in gameplay styles. Armor cap will also be increased up to 75 percent although attaining this is reportedly very difficult as it will also require the player to sacrifice a few stats.

Toughness is also going to be displayed in the UI instead of health because this will be a number that combines both armor and health into a collective pool of hit points. The Character talent is also being altered so that stacking effects will no longer be possible.

According to a report from Cinelinx, update 1.2 will launch on May 24.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
