'Thor: Ragnarok' spoilers, rumors: Who has the Soul Stone?

Who has the final Infinity Stone? Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) know that the Space Stone is currently in Asgard, while the Reality Stone was given to Taneleer Tivan aka the Collector (Benicio Del Toro) for safe keeping, although it remains to be seen if he still has it after his collection blew up in "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The Power Stone that Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) used is now in the hands of the Nova Corps, and the Mind Stone is on Vision's (Paul Bettany) forehead for the entire world to see. And it was recently revealed that the Time Stone is actually inside the Eye of Agamotto and under Doctor Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) watchful eye. But where is the Soul Stone? Who has it?

According to a theorist named Justin Ryne Short, viewers may have already seen the Soul Stone. And it is allegedly in somebody's eyes.

"In Norse mythology, Odin gives him his sight. Heimdals eyes are orange. In Thor: The Dark World, he is quoted saying he can see all the souls in the nine realms. And in Thor's vision in Age of Ultron, Heimdal is blind. Thanos could have taken the stone from his eyes. It all fits," he told Comicbook.com.

While this is a good theory, fans will recall that the reason the Asgardians gave the Reality Stone to the Collector was because they thought it was too dangerous to have two stones in one place. If Heimdall (Idris Elba) does have the Soul Stone, then that means the Asgardians have been uncharacteristically careless, which is unlikely. It is possible that he is keeping this a secret from his fellow Asgardians?

There are actually plenty of theories about who holds the Soul Stone. Some believe that Hela (Cate Blanchett) may have it in her possession, while other say it is inside Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) hammer, Mjolnir. Wherever it is, fans are going to find out soon.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to premiere on Nov. 3, 2017.
