Daniel Newman, who plays Daniel on "The Walking Dead," may have accidentally released a season 8 spoiler of the show.

The photo was a selfie of Newman, Andrew Lincoln (who plays Rick) and Jeremy Palko (who plays Andy). The three can be seen taking the photo inside the Saviors' compound, which may indicate that the team was able to raid Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) base.

While the photo was intended as Newman's way of congratulating Lincoln for the show's hundredth episode, fans quickly jumped on to the idea that the photo revealed more about what is in store for the characters for the eighth season of "The Walking Dead." According to Wet Paint, the photo is seen by them as confirmation that Alexandria, the Kingdom, and Hilltop will join forces in order to take down Negan and the Saviors.

To be fair to Newman, this detail is not exactly surprising to viewers, considering that was where the show was headed by the end of the seventh season. Furthermore, this was also the story revealed in the comics, with the three storming the Saviors' headquarters only to discover that Gregory (Xander Berkeley) was able to beat them to it. Nonetheless, suspicions that the scene spoils a key storyline were strengthened when Newman deleted the post. NME was able to take a screenshot of the image before it was taken down.

In other news, Denise Huth, a co-executive producer of "The Walking Dead," revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that season 8 will see a lot of action. She said, "It's a ton of action. It's super exciting. I think it will be really, really satisfying." She added that she cannot wait for the show, being a fan of it. She also revealed that the cast members are very excited to come back to shoot season 8 episodes because they are brought back together, after having been separated in season 7.

"The Walking Dead" returns in October.
