Fans of NBC's crime fiction "The Blacklist" can expect more twists in its all-new season if the hints that female lead Megan Boone gave away were to be believed.

Boone, who plays Elizabeth Keen on the series, cautioned viewers that when the drama returns, "it's going to be a very different show."

In an interview with Zap2it, the 32-year-old actress was careful not to reveal any specific plot lines, just that there will be a lot of changes.

"Season 3 is going to be the same characters but a different show, a very different dynamic. It is going to change," she said. Boone added that the cast and crew were "going to sort of break open a lot of the structure of the show."

At the end of Season 2, fans were left wondering what was in store for the two main characters Elizabeth and Tom (Ryan Eggold) when the former was seen driving away with Reddington (James Spader). With Liz being a fugitive, it seems that her happy ending with Tom has become even more impossible.

Liz was being framed for the murder of a United States senator and she soon flees the country with Red. But fans of the two who wish they would end up together are in for a disappointment because Boone put a lid on this possible teamup.

"I think she loves him, but I don't think there are romantic feelings. I don't necessarily think it's a [romantic] love story between Liz and Reddington, even though there are people out there that really feel that's what they want," the actress said.

As for those who are rooting for Liz and Ressler, Executive Producer John Eisendrath told TV Guide that there won't be any romantic relationship between the two anytime soon.

"We want to focus on developing Ressler's character. In doing that, [we'll] put him in emotionally vulnerable places," said Eisendrath.

The fact that it was the debonair special agent for the FBI who put Liz on the bureau's Most Wanted List also negated the possibility of this burgeoning tandem.

"The Blacklist" season 3 will premiere on NBC this fall.
