"Star Wars" fans will have to wait a whole year before the next installment in the sequel trilogy of the hit movie franchise arrives in theaters, but spoilers and rumors about "Star Wars: Episode 8" have started to come out. The latest rumors are connected to Benicio del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, and Laura Dern, who were previously announced as the new additions to the "Star Wars" cast. While director Rian Johnson has kept mum about the actors' roles, the character descriptions of the trio have somehow managed to find its way online.

According to Making Star Wars, del Toro's character is described as a classic "man in black" as he wears an all-black costume and is deemed to be dangerous. The character is said to be clean shaven with hair similar to Poe Dameron's (Oscar Isaac) in length. It is also said that the main characters won't see at first that del Toro is a villain. It is speculated that he might be connected to the casino set that was mentioned earlier this year, rumored to be visited by Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the upcoming film.

Dern is said to be probably the most flamboyant among the new characters, and she is described to be very aristocratic and fancy in a way that hasn't been seen in the franchise before. Her look is said to be a mix of "The Hunger Games" and "Star Wars" aesthetics, and that she also wears a pink wig in "Episode 8." The site's sources were reportedly at a loss for words when they tried to describe Dern's hair, which is said to be very ornate.

Meanwhile, Tran was reportedly spotted in a jumpsuit and that she somehow ends up tangled with Finn (John Boyega) in the new film. No other details were given about the actress' role, but it is said that Tran's character is "just very normal looking but her situation is supposedly really cool."

"Star Wars: Episode 8" has yet to have an official title. The film opens in theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
