'Sons of Anarchy' season 7 episode 12: Will Gemma pay for her crimes, or will Jax meet his doom?

Gemma's (Katey Sagal) life is now on the balance. The SAMCRO matriarch's sinister secret has finally been revealed to her justice-thirsty son, Jax (Charlie Hunnam). Who would have thought that 5-year-old Abel will be the one to give his grandma's game away? With only two episodes left in the seventh season of "Sons of Anarchy," Jax is not too far away from the revenge that took him countless murders and dead bodies to attain.

Prior to the unearthing of the cold, hard truth, Jax has gone brutally round the bend as he hunted and slain every individual he deemed had something to do with Tara's murder. His death toll was soaring. But now that Jax finally learned who her beloved wife's killer is, many foresee that his bloody body count will end with his own mother's. Should that come to pass, Jax won't find it a piece of cake.

"Anyone else in the world, 100 percent guaranteed he's gonna murder them in slow, brutal fashion," Hunnam told Entertainment Weekly. "But it's his mother, you know, it's gonna be complicated."

Meanwhile, Gemma has sensed the looming danger. Her ominous side is now exposed, so is her web of lies. But actress Katey Sagal thinks it is not the end of her character's schemes, not just yet.

"It's gone so far that to me, either way is horrible. You will see the way it all pans out, but it's a tough call. But people do heinous things and still have lives. Oh yes, they do," Sagal stated via IB Times.

Sagal also thinks that Gemma would slay anyone who threatens her life or her family's, saying, "At the end of the day, if it was to protect her grandchildren, her son or herself, I think she would kill anybody."

While Sagal hints her character's possible evasion of death, Jax may be the one to fail at dodging his downfall. Producer and Director Paris Barclay said that the hero cannot go off easily after murdering the President.

"Let's face it, Jax killed their president. If someone came in to the club and shot Jax, imagine what the Sons of Anarchy Redwood Originals would do. The Indian Hills people are just as mad and just as out for justice. They will have their chance to do that," Barclay told Yahoo TV.

So, whose death will the "final ride" of "Sons of Anarchy" season 7 culminate then? Fans will know shortly after the thriller series' time away this week. Episode 12 of the hit FX Network program will air on Dec. 2.
